Year 2 at the Kubert School is in the books. I'm starting to feel like art may actually become my livelihood on top of being my life.
Currently I'm pencilling a 6-page story for the Pronto Comics
prontocomics.com/ anthology Blackout 2, set to come out at the end of summer. I'm also doing character designs for two new animated series pitches. All this, and still maintaining a strict regimen of no sleep and terrible diet!
SO! The commission door is open, and I'm always interested in hearing about new projects. Whether you need new super heroes to be designed, or you just want that portrait of your goldfish, feel free to message me with details!
And for the sake of trying something new, I created a tumblr, which you can interface your brain with here:
maxfuchs.tumblr.com/In other news! In the process of creating my tumblr I discovered an individual had posted my Nite Owl drawing, and it had been liked and re-blogged 70 (!) times. The only way I was able to find this out was that the individual tagged me and my Deviant page. This is awesome. I thank the guy for the interest and the credit, and here's the link:
www.herochan.com/post/20187827…But it begs the question - how many times has someone posted my work and NOT dropped a credit line? My self-depricating nature says "None, dummy," but let's face it: the internet is sort of like a huge network of computers and users that all pass information around freely...
and also that's exactly what it is.
Try to remember the rules using this simple rhyme: Credit where credit's due: I won't sue you.
